On behalf of OASIS-Operation America Standing In Support, congratulations to our 2021 scholarship winners Caleb Hubbard and Alexi Schaffert. Both winners attend Merritt Island High School. It was an honor and privilege to grant them each a $5000 scholarship, as they continue their journey with ROTC futures. Caleb will attend the University of North Carolina and Alexis will be attending Embry Riddle. Both will pursue a military career in the Army upon completion of college. We couldn’t be more proud of you!

From Caleb:

“After high school I plan to attend The University of North Georgia. I have been accepted into UNG’s ROTC program. I will be majoring in Strategic and Security Studies. Upon graduation from UNG, I plan to accept a commission into the United States Army and have a career in active duty. I hope to get into the Aviation Branch and have chosen my major so that I can also operate in Military Intelligence should that be where the Army wants me. I feel I am deserving of this scholarship because I have devoted my life, so far, to service of others and my plans for the future are to continue with a life of service.”

From Alexis:

“Following high school, I plan to attend Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. I have worked hard and earned a partial ROTC Scholarship. The ROTC scholarship will begin covering costs once I complete my first year at Embry Riddle. I will be majoring in Homeland Security. This degree will help me to continue serving my country for years to come. After graduating from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, I begin my military service in the Army as an active duty officer. A personal long term goal is to one day be a member of the Special Forces.”
