On behalf of the Commander, International Security Assistance Force-Afghanistan Situational Awareness Room, a hearty thank you for the box of goodies we received today. The sweets and food are very much appreciated, but not nearly as much as the Halloween, autumn and Christmas cards we received from the kids. The cards went immediately on our display wall along with other cards and drawings we have received. The time and efforts of OASIS to send us this care package have done much to lift our spirits. Although the food you sent will probably have already been eaten by the time I hit send on this email, your generosity and support will stay with us long after our deployments have ended and we have returned to our families.
